Subject: Upcoming Change - Automatic Credit/Debit Card Payments for Foot Care Services
Dear Family Members,
I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to inform you of an upcoming change to the billing process for the foot care services I provide to your loved one through Rain City Foot Care.
Beginning July 2025, all clients will be required to have a valid credit or debit card on file for automatic payment processing at the time of service. This change is being implemented to streamline billing, reduce administrative overhead, and ensure timely payment and aligns with many other medical practices billing processes.
A large portion of my time spent with Rain City Foot Care is sending and collecting invoices and this is not a sustainable business practice as I balance a second career with Harborview and general work/life balance.
Going forward:
Please fill out the web form below. The information is safe and secure. The card on file will be charged automatically after each visit. You will ONLY be charged if services are provided. An electronic receipt will be sent to you for every transaction.
Your payment information will be stored securely using Stripe and you may update or change the card on file at any time. This will also eliminate late fees and communication errors.
The second change to my business practice is that I will only be charting by exception. Currently, I providing a nursing note on each client to the nursing home for a fee of $10. Most of the residents receive regular routine foot care where no issues arise. By eliminating nursing notes given to the facility, I can reduce my fee to you by $10. I will not charge on the off occasion that I do have to report something out of the ordinary to the caregivers or the families!
This again is an effort to streamline services through, automatic credit card payments and charting by exception only. I am passing on the savings to you, the families!
I appreciate your understanding and cooperation as I implement this change to better serve all clients and their families. If you are unable to provide a credit card on file, there will be a $10 invoicing fee (so the fee stays the same).
